Crystal Days takes place in Lubań in the Lower Silesia – within the boundaries of a land full of secrets and treasures, where every step of the way there is a unforgettable adventure connected with wonderful nature, geology, architecture, legends, castles, palaces and unbelievable history.
Not far from Lubań there are Sudetic resorts like Świeradów and Szklarska Poręba. The medieval castles of Czocha, Proszówka, Frydlant and Świecie stand next to them. Palaces and mansions decorate the surrounding area. The Kwisa River, in the western part of the Lower Silesia is crossed by a large dam next to Lubań. The Złotnickie Lake is located nearby. A little further, near the town of Görlitz, it is the large Berzdorfer See, the lake with modern recreational infrastructure. Villages near Lubań are famous from their original agritourism and are interesting and diverse for any visitors.
Lubań is a vibrant town with a rich history, it is located near the German and Czech borders. Once it was famous as the largest manufacturer of handkerchiefs in Europe. Today it is known from numerous original and very modern ecological initiatives, extraordinary historical activities by local enthusiasts, the only intersection of three Jakub Routes in Poland and exemplary reconstructed Cloth Hall. In addition, Lubań has unique historical museums which are located in the Renaissance Town Hall and in the Medieval Tower. Lubań not only creates attractions, but also has great hospitable people, ready to implement the most exciting and craziest ideas.
Crystal Days is to be held in Lubań, which is a transport hub at the junction of Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic. You can get here easily by car (using the highway) or by train. Lubań is a perfect place to fulfill all your tourist dreams.

There is a Regional Museum with it is seat in the historic Town Hall, it’s main exhibition is dedicated to history,
The branch of Museum with a permanent West-Sudetic mineralogical exhibiton is located in Bracka Tower,
There is a plan to establish a modern mineralogical museum in Lubań in the future
