The festival is largely focused on family entertainment and education. Many attractions, educational and fun ones are dedicated to young children and teenagers. The number of attractions and activities planned for families is so large that probably one day will not be enough to visit all of them.
Inflatables
A large air-filled playground with inflatables for children will be located in green areas just below the medieval city walls. Nearby there will be food stands geared towards kids and families.
The hunter zone
The hunter zone is located at the center of the Mineral and Jewelry Show which is one of the special places created mainly for children. There you can try your luck in mineral and fossils hunting in our excavation, learn how to pan gold and buy uncut agates and cut them there. GEOzone
Many of the stands in the GEOzone will run mini-workshops and offer educational attractions for kids and adults. You will see a model of a working volcano, make fossil casts or learn how to recognize minerals. You can read more about GEOzone HERE.
Exhibitions
During Crystal Days, there will be eight exhibitions on a wide variety of subjects for audiences of all ages. You will be able to see them on the premises of the Regional Museum in the Town Hall, in the Bracka Tower and in the park near the Tower. Kuźnia Karkonosze
Blacksmithing workshops led by the renowned Kuźnia Karkonosze, featuring forged items specially crafted for mineral enthusiasts.
Additionally, at the Crystal Days, there will be a medieval minting booth offering the chance to strike an authentic replica of the golden florins discovered near Lubań.
"Race to the Geological Museum"
A large-format board game for children and adults of all ages. Set off on a journey across Poland, discover fascinating geological sites, test your knowledge by answering questions, and identify Earth's hidden treasures. Dash through dunes, mountains, and gorges. Complete with other players and be the first to reach the Geological Museum. The game will be available on Saturday from 10.00AM to 6.00PM. Organized by the Geological Museum PIG.
2nd Exhibition of Motorcycles and Vehicles from the PRL
An exhibition of vintage motorcycles, mopeds, and bicycles from the communist era in Poland, organized by the Joker Garage Team. An exciting and nostalgic journey into the past, featuring original contests and fun activites for the whole family .
